What do I need to take with me?

A: Just towels, your personal belongings and money. Everything else, including bed linen is provided in the properties

Don't forget your toothbrush . . .

Will we need car hire?

A: Car hire is recommended, but is not absolutely essential. Good local bus services are available, but to enjoy real freedom to go where you want, when you want, a car is essential. Hire Costs are very competitive and the car can be collected from and left at Alicante airport. Local places to visit include Murcia, Valencia, Santa Pola, Guardamar, Benijofar, Quesada, Benidorm, Terra Mitica.

What other items are at the properties for rent?

A: An iron, drying facilities, shower and/or bath, cooker, hob, fridge, crockery and cutlery. Many vacation homes have cable/satellite TV and washing machines.

Are Laundry Facilities Available?

A: Yes. At La Marina there are laundry services on site and many houses, apartments, villas etc. now come with a washing machine. All Marina Del Mar properties have cable/satellite TV and washing machines.

What about Spanish Currency?

A: There are Banks at both locations. Take currency, travellers cheques or Eurocheques. It's always best to limit the amount of cash you are carrying as a precautionary measure.The exchange rate is often more favourable in Spain.

What other amenities are there?

A: At La Marina you will find plenty of local shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Each location also caters for variety of leisure activities, such as tennis, bowls, swimming, walking, cycling, fishing and golf, either on site or in the vicinity.

Do I need vaccinations for Spain?

A: No travel vaccines are needed but it's always a good idea to ensure your Tetanus/Polio are up to date. There are medical centres and pharmacies on site and Spain has reciprocal health service arrangements with the UK.
